What stapler would work best for rolled roofing material?

I am going to put rolled roofing on my small barn, and am not going to hammer roofing nails by hand.
I have a air compressor, and will buy a gun. Just need suggestions as to what brand, and or type to use?

Go to a tool rental outlet or a lumber yard and rent one. They’ll have the right nails for the job. Why buy one? You’ll probably never use it again, unless you live in a heavy storm area. If so, you’ll probably need it again. Check them out online. Bosch or DeWalt would be my recommendation. Check here: http://www.grizzly.com/

we used to put that paper on with a “slap hammer”, it’s a stapler only it is a long hammer type tool that spits out a staple every time you you swing it against something. super fast when you get the hang of it…hope this helps

I agree that you don’t need to buy one. Look for a United Rental near you. you can rent the gun and buy the nails there. Some Home Depots rent tools as well. If you want to buy one, look for a Senco or a Hitachi. They are two of the best guns on the market. Good luck.
